Shutting Down

There are two ways to shut the unit down:

• Regular shutdown: This method closes the unit and uploads safely.
• Emergency shutdown: This action may interrupt active processes.

Regular Shutdown

Use the on-screen power control whenever possible. This is the correct procedure to shut down the unit during normal operation. Doing so ensures that recordings, data, and network sessions are closed safely before power is removed.

1. Tap the on-screen Power button.
   
2. Select Shut down. (Optional) Select Restart.
3. Wait until the screen turns off completely.

Emergency Shutdown

Only use this method when necessary, as it may result in loss of information.

• Press and hold the physical Power button on the unit’s right-hand side approximately six to eight seconds.
