Hardware Overview

Front Panel

The front of the unit features a 5.5” capacitive touchscreen display used for video preview, status monitoring, and system control. The internal battery status is reflected by a status LED on the unit next to the DC inlet. The booster battery status is reflected by a status LED on the battery itself. Green and red indicate strong to weak battery strength.

Right Panel Ports

1. SDI 1 (12G): Primary camera input supporting HD 1080p/I, 4K signals.
2. SDI 2 (3G): Video Return output.
3. HDMI OUT: Video Return output.
4. HDMI IN: Supports HDMI 2.0 camera sources.
5. USB for external devices: 3.0 / 3.1 / 3.2 port.
6. Physical Power Button: Hardware control for powering the unit on or performing an emergency shutdown.
    

Left Panel Ports

1. RC / USB-A port for a remote control, accessories and external modems.
2. 3.5 mm headset jack for intercom.
3. ETH1 Ethernet port.
4. ETH2 Ethernet port.
5. SD Card Reader.
6. BAT-IN (11–17 V) for external battery or vehicle power.
7. DC-IN (19 V) for AC power.
8. SIM card slots. Each drawer contains two SIM slots, one per modem.

Note

When a headset is connected to the unit, displays at the top of the screen. Tapping this icon enables you to control headset settings. When using IFB or Intercom, connect a headset to the Headset Connector, or use Bluetooth.
