The LU900Q supports multiple cellular modems, each using a SIM or eSIM.
To switch SIM type:
- Tap Connections.
- Select a cellular modem.
- Under General, tap SIM or eSIM.
- Tap Yes to confirm.
The modem reconnects using the selected SIM. Other modems remain active.
Insert SIM Cards (No LiveU Data Plan)
If you are using your own cellular provider, install SIM cards directly into the unit.
- Power off the unit
- Open the SIM slot cover
- Insert SIM cards into the available slots (one per modem)
- Ensure each SIM is fully seated
- Power on the unit
After startup:
- Go to Connections
- Switch from eSIM to SIM - Under General, tap SIM.
- Tap Yes to confirm.
- Verify each modem detects a network
- Configure APN settings if required by your carrier
Each modem operates independently. Multiple SIMs can be used simultaneously for bonding.
Note
- Use different carriers for best performance
- Do not insert or remove SIMs while powered on
- eSIM can be used as an alternative if configured
